Play Rules

  • The minor or minors parent or legal guardian Agree to online waiver required for each participant before entering play area. Party guest parents please sign a hard copy before child enters play area.

  • Our play areas are strictly suited for infants 6 months to children age 5 . Once they turn 6 they have aged out of the Indoor play space NO EXCEPTIONS! Our outdoor play space can be used for children up to age 8!

    UPON ENTERING THE CAFE REMOVE YOUR SHOES * PUT YOUR SOCKS ON * PLACE IN CUBBIES WASH YOUR HANDS PROCEED TO AGE APPROPRIATE PLAY AREAS.

  • POTTY TRAINING CHILDREN MUST WEAR A PULL UP DURING PLAY. PLEASE MAKE SURE DIAPERS DON’T GET SO FULL THAT THEY SWELL AND LEAK.

  • WE HAVE A CHANGING TABLE WITH PRIVACY CURTAIN. ALSO IF YOU WANT TO BREASTFEED THERE IS A CHAIR NEXT TO CHANGING TABLE.

  • PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE DIAPERS ON OUR COUCHES OR FLOORS.

  • NO OUTSIDE LIQUID CONTAINERS, STANLEY CUPS OR OTHER, FOOD OR DRINK ! PLEASE KEEP THE CAFE SUPPORTED WE HAVE COFFEE, TEA, FRAPPES,SMOOTHIES, WATER, DIET AND REGULAR SOFT DRINKS, BREAKFAST CHOICES, SANDWICHES, CHARCUTERIE TRAYS AND SNACKS IN THE CAFE.

  • No drops-off allowed.

  • NO STROLLERS!! - Please leave strollers. WE DON’T HAVE THE SPACE.

  • NO SHOES AND NO BAREFEET are allowed BEYOND THE CUBBIES. ADULTS MAY WEAR REGULAR SOCKS! ALL CHILDREN MUST WEAR GRIP SOCKS! YOU CAN PURCHASE SOCKS FROM THE CAFE .

  • PLEASE PREVENT CHILDREN FROM ROLLING HARD OBJECTS OR HARD TOYS down slides as it will damage the surface of the slide.

  • No roughhousing.

  • Share the Space with Love and Respect .

  • AT THE END OF PLAYTIME THE CLEANUP SONG WILL BE PLAYED PLEASE HELP US GET TOYS BACK TO SHELVES SO THAT STAFF CAN SANITIZE AND CLEAN FOR THE NEXT SESSION OF FAMILIES. WE ONLY HAVE 30 MINUTES TO RESET AND RESANITIZE. WE WANT EVERY FAMILY TO GET THE SAME AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

  • 1st Attempt is redirection – if anyone from staff sees OR is made aware of children consistently being unkind, playing in a way that is DESTRUCTIVE or dangerous, we will Calmly and positively locate the parent/guardian to ask them to help redirect the child’s behavior.

  • After two attempts to redirect the behavior of the child(ren) that might cause hurt or harm to him/herself or to other children, it is our experience that the child may be tired or is just possibly having a rough day and maybe needs to be removed from the triggering situation and come again another time. The entrance fee is non-refundable. Banning a family is an extreme last resort when Happy Times and your family are just not a good fit.

  • Sick Child Policy. Please refrain from bringing in a child with any type of contagious illness fever * regurgitation * harsh coughs and running nose. This is a children’s indoor playground and we aim to keep our environment as healthy as possible.

  • We are not responsible if your child leaves the premises.

  • We require all parents to monitor their own CHILD(REN) at ALL times. Happy Times Play Café is NOT responsible for any child insult or injury complaints and claims by others.

  • Adults are responsible for monitoring their hot café beverages and foods.

  • No food or beverages are allowed in play areas. Please keep FOODS AND BEVERAGES at your table . Please do not feed children in play areas or allow them to leave table with food in their mouths.

  • DISCIPLINE - We have a strict policy against Yelling or Spanking Children In HTPC. It takes away from the Zen that we believe all our Parents, Grandparents and Caregivers deserve. It also is alarming to all the other children. We ask that you keep a safe distance for observing Your Children. Occasionally giving them gentle guidance or redirection while allowing them space for self directed adventure and beneficial play. If they are just having a bad day end the playdate and try again another day.
